Nationality/Education/Experience: Mr Amos Emmanuel, an indegene of Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, attended Saint Finbarr’s College, Akoka, Lagos. He studied both Computer Science and Finance and Banking programmes at the University of Lagos between 1982 and 1989. Several years after formation and running one of Nigeria’s most populous indigenous software companies, Programos Software Limited. He is currently undergoing his Masters Programme in Advanced Business and Management Information Systems at Robert Kennedy College, Zurich, Switzerland. He is the founder of Programos Foundation, a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization offering free and highly subsidized education with free technology tools in software implementation, development and outsourcing entrepreneurship for graduates of diverse disciplines from our tertiary institutions.
